How to view your English exam results
Results are posted to your One.IU account within 3-4 days of taking the exam. They are not sent to you. Academic advisors will review the results when you meet to register for your classes. However, you can view the results ahead by following the steps below:
- Go to One.IU
- In the search bar, type “Student Center”
- Open up Student Center
- Under “Academics,” click on the link for “My Academics and Grades”
- Under “Transfer, Test, Other Credit,” click on “View Test Scores” (important, do not click on “View Test Credit”)
The next screen will show all your test scores, including ACT and SAT if you have taken those. For your IU South Bend English placement exam score, it will be displayed as follows:
10, 20, 30, or 40
If you don’t see your score, either it hasn’t been entered or there could be more to display. Click on the “view all” link to see more scores. If you have questions, contact Rick Dennie at (574) 520-4164 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

*Students will work throughout the semester with the same WriteWell tutor from the IUSB Writers’ Room via regular Zoom conferences. With this pairing, the tutor will gain a clear sense of how to best help the student develop their writing skills over the course of the semester. This pairing will be arranged during the first week of the semester, and the student will be expected to work consistently and regularly with the assigned tutor.
