First Steps for Newly Admitted Students

  1. Set up your One.IU account.
  2. Confirm your intent to enroll by signing up for New Student Orientation. You will set up your first semester class schedule during New Student Orientation.
  3. Check your To Do list in your One.IU account. Take your Placement Exams before orientation or class scheduling. Submit final transcripts and test scores.

  • Check with Financial Aid and Scholarships about your financial support.
  • Contact Residence Life if you are interested in living on campus.
  • You’ll learn about student IDs, parking passes, on-campus dining, how to pay your bill, and student support services at orientation.
